Abstract: In current scenario the automation plays important role in any type of industries for the purpose of quick production. For changing over form manual mode to auto mode there are many problems which affect the project of automation. There are two types of problems one is from technical side i.e. testing of software and another is from management side i.e. managing the manpower, material management, communication management within the organization and out of the organization which affects the progress of the project. To the authors knowledge this is the first time to observe the factors which are affecting the progress of the project and to perform the study on them. Result of this study support that which are the factors that affect the progress of the project and how to tackle them in a better way so that they will not affect the project.

Abstract: In this paper, A SMES based DVR model is presented and Modelled with the help of simulink block. Superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) is considered as the future energy storage devices. In this work SMES is used for storing the DC energy and at the time of Requirement provide this energy to the main line with the help of DVR (Dynamic Voltage restorer). Simulation Result shows the compensation ability of this DVR.

Abstract: For people’s livelihood, Grains are very important resources. But, its production is seasonal, that’s why we need to store them. For this purpose grain storage depots are there in our Country, which are being run by the Government. Objective of these depots is provide the grains to the people whenever it is needed. Environmental parameters affect the quality of grains like temperature, humidity, light. If proper Environment is not provided then the Grains may get spoil, which may cause a heavy loss to the Country’s economy as the bulk amount of grains will get wasted without being used. For overcoming this problem, here we are designing a system which will monitor as well as control the environmental parameters. This system will be an automatic system that will prevent the grain loss by automatically controlling the environment of Granary.

Abstract: When single-phase to ground fault occurs in high voltage transmission line, secondary arc current and recovery voltage must be suppressed in order to ensure that single-phase auto-reclosing operates reliably and successfully.
This work adopts the suppression measure of secondary arc current using shunt reactor with neutral small reactor-which is applied widely in India, and then uses MATLAB Simulink software to simulate suppression effect about different fault point locations toward an example of 735kv double-ended sources high-voltage transmission line. According to the simulation results, suppression effects about different locations are distinct.  Moreover, this measure can suppress secondary arc current effectively, ensure success of single phase auto-reclosing operation and finally achieve security and stability of power system.

Abstract: PLC and SCADA are the two new approaches used to control the motion of Electric Overhead travelling crane. Ladder logic diagram for EOT Cranes are designed for motion using variable frequency drives and contactor logic and performance of various parameters are analyzed and compared and image of E.O.T crane are designed in SCADA software and communication between PLC and Scada is done with the help of Siemens simulator .There is a provision of hydraulic motor for motion in main hoist if power failure of cranes takes place to avoid the unsafe condition and work under extreme condition.
