Abstract: The self-help group is functioning very effective dimension role at creating rural livelihood at sustain, the savings and bank linkages are eliminating poverty and creating the effective social functions by participating women at village level committees as a member at each and every village level committees. The self help group members are very active part of an economical status, through Banks they are getting the loan, and loan amount is utilizing for purposeful fields and at their children education, economic activity. And it creates self-reliance, self-esteem, self-production, joint responsibility, self-determination by mobilizing internal indigenous resources of the person the group. In this paper attempt to women empowerment through SHGs in India and Andhra Pradesh.

Abstract: The documents that the researcher reviewed during the study were the Performance Contracting Guidelines, the Economic Recovery Strategy, the Second Medium Term Plan, the Jubilee Manifesto, the Sector Performance Standards, Citizens Service Delivery Charter and Kenya’s Vision 2030. She reviewed these documents as they are the blue prints towards realizing Vision 2030 and they are the road map to this realization. Currently all chief officers in all government ministries and accounting departments, State corporations, Local authorities and tertiary Institutions have signed performance contracts. There has been tremendous and measurable performance arising out of these ongoing government reform initiatives and resulting in international recognition and wide acclaim. For instance, the United Nations Public Service Award 2007 was awarded to Kenya in the category of improved Transparency, Accountability and Responsiveness in the Public Sector. This is a clear testimony of the great strides the Kenya Public Service is making in the area of reforms. 

Abstract: To describe my contents in a concise manner the above topic throws light on credentials of a Indian financial market in both theoretical and pragmatic ways. Through this I want to highlight the working of share markets and how a common investor can achieve better return from his or her capital investment. Profit is the only “mantra” that can drive success in a capital market and for ensuring profitability one needs knowledge and self-interest. I feel privileged to write this topic and describe my own experiences of share market in a pictorial and best possible manner.

Abstract: The quality of the human resource of an organization is essential to its success. Thus, every organization must seek to improve the quality of its workforce. It is worth noting that in Mumias Sugar Company, most unskilled workers rise up to positions that require specific skills with specific duties. Even some cane cutters find themselves in positions requiring skills, therefore the need for on-the-job-training. It is in this respect that the current study sought to establish the effect of on-the-job-training on employee performance in Mumias Sugar Company; Kakamega County based on the study objectives. The objectives of the study were: To establish the effect of on-the-job-training to employee’s performance at Mumias Sugar Company Limited, to establish the effect of on-the-job-training to employees’ task requirement at Mumias Sugar Company Limited and lastly to establish the effect of on-the-job training to the employees’ satisfaction at Mumias Sugar Company Limited. This study adopted a descriptive research design. The target population for the study was 115 employees where a sample size of 90was selected using Krejcie and Morgan table of determining sample size for research activities. Data was derived through questionnaires distributed to selected employees as well as the finance and human resource managers. Data was analyzed using the chi-squire and presented using frequency tables. The study findings show that on-the-job-training programmes are more likely to enhance employee capability than without. There was a significant direct relationship between on-the-job-training maintained by the firm and employee task requirements. The study recommends that organizations should come up with on-the-job-training programmes that enhance employee efficiency and performance, that will make the employee to love the job he/she is undertaking hence providing employee satisfaction services which intend to increase profitability in the organization.

Abstract: Retailing is one of the India’s largest private industries. Liberalization in FDI has caused a massive restructuring in retail industry. The benefit of FDI in retail industry superimposes its cost factors. Opening the retail industry to FDI will bring forth benefits in its terms of advance employment, organized retail stores, availability of quality products at a better and cheaper price. It is to be noted that there is a prevalent widespread opposition, especially by the left parties towards FDI retail in India. May be in 1990s employing safeguard to protect the domestic retailers was the need of the day. Almost more than one and a half decades down the line there is a need for Foreign Direct Investment in retail trade.

Abstract: Industrial health and safety today mean protecting the life and health of people from the dangers arising during or through work. Industrial health and safety are one of the social components of industrialization. Jaysar Springs Private limited (JSPL) is a pioneer in the manufacture of laminated leaf springs & assemblies for automobiles. The objectives of this study is to find the awareness of health and Safety measures among the workers , too find the attitude of the workers towards industrial Health and Safety measure provided in the firm and to provide suggestions regarding Health and Safety measures. It is concluded that the employees have an overall positive attitude on health and safety measures provided by the firm and the study provide suggestions that the attitude of the employees can be increased by improving some of the measures as mentioned in the suggestions above.
